albinos has now been meaning to open communication channels with the baka pigmy tribe for quite some time, sadly to mixed results� this indeed represents a rather difficult task considering their take on the devil is a tall white man graced with white hair and red eyes! even though the baka people is a peaceful one, the legend goes that if they were to catch that albino devil, they would gut its organs out and turn those into an aphrodisiac concoction. strangely enough, albinos believes that his music just might be the best language to turn those antagonistic feelings into a communion, he even dreams of performing his tunes to the whole tribe, deep within the jungle, surrounded with exotic birds and the most hungry kind of predators! somewhat at times on the verge of irony, his music definitively trades with sketchy, raw and deep emotions, always sincere in the making: always a few steps away from the pre-shaped house and techno idioms, he offers his very own take on dance music, a most peculiar one. solely using old cheap hardware and an antique atari, the tracks at hand are one-take live performances, brutal incarnations of albinos simple virgin vision. as the quest for the baka people goes on, the antinote team is proud to help shed light on the journey of this obscure producer hailing from the grand north.

made fresh daily follow up killer 12 inches from geddes and mikki funk with the debut solo ep from rising house producer jackmaster k. though indebted to the current vogue for the sounds of 90s house, jackmaster ks productions are filled with enough unexpected twists and turns to keep the formula fresh, *house aint givin up* switches things up with its nyc electro stabs, saxophone solo and swelling sub-bass, while *get up* takes things into deeper territory with its thick bassline and dubbed out, candy sweet rhodes melodies. on the remix, james johnston flips *get up* inside out, giving it some classic new jersey bump and flex, and busying up the arrangement with added organs, while rosenhafts take on *house aint givin up* is much more expansive, allowing the bassline to breathe in a spacious composition of pitched vocals and drawn out chords.

a unique collaborative project by visual artist charlie white and musician / producer boom bip, pressed on white vinyl. together the pair have created an ep of dance tracks based on in-depth interviews of teenage girls with accompanying photographic images. the magical, yet sometimes uncomfortable results are now made available on a very limited edition 12 inch. each of the 5 tracks captures the essence of a different teenager, from the privileged and popular georgia musing on the importance of being liked, to the sultry and complicated isabelle recalling her melancholy crushes of freshman year. the original interviews were painstakingly edited and set against the pin-sharp boom bip productions they inspired, whilst the visual element was born out of whites intensive photographic study of a teenage girl living in the isolated suburbs of southern california. white generated around 11k images over 2 years and has selected 12 for *music for sleeping children*. in addition to the 5 original tracks this package includes 5 instrumentals exclusive to this vinyl format. grab this while you can!
